I was first drawn to portrait painting when I realized the power paint holds in capturing the gaze and emotions in a really unique way. Most of my work centers around memory, specifically in relation to queerness, chronic illness, friendships and community. I think that figure painting is uniquely equipped to deal with those topics

What brought you to ErF?

I'm super excited about joining ErF for two reasons - the space and community. I used to work out of my bedroom, which, which definitely has it's pros and cons.

I'm also excited to have a separate studio space so I can bring folks in on studio tours (Dm me if you wanna come by!!!).
